Kawai Mako

PROFILE

Born in Japan, 1990.  Graduated Nihon University College of Art.  Shortlisted for The 17th KOUBO TIS, and Shortlisted for the 222nd The Choice.

I worked as a TV commercial production manager and then became a freelance illustrator.   Mostly working in publishing, TV shows, and Apparel but my door is always open.

Rather than sticking with one medium I use multiple mediums like mixing printmaking techniques, drawing, and watercolor etc., and all are digitally done.  I try to find the best way for each project.
