Miho Matsuno Food Illustrator
Born in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and currently based in Chiba City. After gaining practical experience in design and DTP at a production company and studying at Setsu Mode Seminar, she established herself as a freelance illustrator.
Specializing in food illustration, she creates works primarily for advertising, packaging, and publishing. Her strength lies in her ability to create data optimized for specific media characteristics, combined with a logical approach to capturing "sizzle" (appetite appeal).
Since 2024, she has been researching the "visualization of deliciousness" through the lens of gastrophysics at Kyoto University of the Arts. She aims to create expressions that utilize both sensory perception and theoretical analysis.
She views illustration as a "visual language" that translates the context and background of food to correctly convey its true value. She strives to be a creative partner who thinks deeply alongside clients about the essential question of "how to convey deliciousness."
In addition, as an Adobe Community Expert, she is engaged in sharing knowledge about creative environments and supporting creator well-being.
