Group Exhibition "GINZA Zoo”

2023/2/10（金）~17（金）A work painted for a group exhibition at ASAGI ARTS.Since the exhibition was held at a gallery in Ginza, I put "GINZA" in the title.Participating members were Inunko, Ayumi Shimoda, Kyoko Tange, Michiko Furutani, and myself.

GINZA ZOO" - Typical Ginza sweets are made into a zoo by using them as animals.
”I chose bright colors that would bring good things” The famous lion in front of a famous department store. When you see it in person, it is very plain, so we decided to use a color like this.
”go back to one's hometown” A lion, usually found in front of a famous department store, is returning home.
”3 o'clock snack” The "3 o'clock snack is a Bunmeido" commercial is familiar only to people of my generation and older. But the character of the white bear is still alive and well.
”relationship with one's neighbors” Kyukyodo's pigeon, Bunmeido's white bear, BVLGARI's snake
”A cat in a forest that looks like that famous wrapping paper pattern.”I did not know Mr. Inokuma until I became an adult and started painting.When I learned that Mr. Inokuma designed the wrapping paper for Mitsukoshi, it suddenly looked wonderful.When I looked at it again closely, it looked like a forest, so I painted this picture.
”Elephant” I made this regardless of Ginza.
”blue dog” I made this regardless of Ginza.
