2023

Kamijimacho is made of 25 islands located on the Seto inland sea. The book is about thinking of the future of islands. The first part is a children's book then the following is based on discussion by citizens of 5 groups in each topic and data. For this project I stayed in Yuge-island for a week then interviewed local workers, observing local life. The Chileren's book part is based on what I see and experienced. There is also a hidden character on each spread page.
