This is the cover art for three consecutive cover releases by the duo "Hana*Hana," with whom I've always had a close relationship. Working with Hana*Hana, they always prioritize communication between artists, and I think about the distance between myself and what they are looking for now, and what their fans are looking for! The result is always unexpected. The first song to be distributed in advance is "Kaede" by Spitz. I made my brain work as hard as I could, and as a result, the visuals, which were layered with discomfort, seemed to be the right choice. I chased after the coolness of the 80's in vain, but an "inappropriate" bug got on top of it, and it landed on a somewhat uncool? The result is a very cool, but not cool enough, 2024.
