2024

"Love Letter to Gunma” is an illustrated essay serialized in an advertising newspaper. This time, my love letter is to Hanawa, a mountain village along the Watarase River in the former Azuma-mura area of Midori-shi, Gunma Prefecture. I used a beautiful old elementary school building in this beautiful village to organize an art session with the children. I was able to share with many children something beautiful that would have been forgotten if left unattended.
