Love Letter to Gunma” is an illustrated essay serialized in an advertising newspaper. This time, the partner to shout love to is the Gunma Crain Thunders of the Basketball B-League. No, not only that, but also Open House Arena Ota! Well, that was a surprise! In the paper, I wrote about how I had seen an NBA game in the US in the past and thought I would never see such sports entertainment in Japan. However, I was greatly surprised and enjoyed more than that, that the production that increased the density as an entertainment space by building a “small” arena with a capacity of about 5,000 people, the Open House Arena, was close to the NBA experience! The big idea of “small” in a local city is great! Most of all, the professionalism of the players and everyone else involved in the game in this arena was superb! When you come across something like this, you have no choice but to go a little crazy yourself! I drew all the motifs with my left hand, cut and pasted them, and colored them again with my left hand. I then imported them into Photoshop, and made some crazy color adjustments.
